Welcome to the documentation for the Assign Variable plugin for Figma. Created to improve the use of variables, this plugin lets you quickly assign variables to any selected element via quick actions. Developed to save precious time, Assign Variable simplifies the integration of variables such as colors, sizes, grids, etc. into your Figma projects.

How to use the plugin

To use the plugin, there is no graphical interface; you have to go through figma's quick actions

1. Select one or more objects
2. Launch "quick actions
   1. Mac: ⌘ Command + / or ⌘ Command + P
   2. Windows: Control + / or Control + P
3. Type a command (e.g. "Fill)
4. Fill in the requested values
5. Press enter to apply

Tips :

• To reapply the last variable applied, use the shortcut ⌘ Command + Option + P.
• You can search for the variable to assign by its name or value.
